Robert McKee Came to Turkey for the Bosphorus Film Festival
The master of the masters and the author of the book called “Story” -which is deemed as reference guide for the world-famous and award-winner screenplay writers, is sold out in the publishing houses and breaks sales records-, Robert McKee, came to Istanbul as the guest of the 4th International Bosphorus Film Festival that is organized by Istanbul Media Academy together with the International Bosphorus Cinema Association and that will continue until October the 18th. McKee will meet with the Turkish cinema industry through the Genre Seminar that will last for 3 days.
The title of today’s seminar to be given by McKee – who came to Turkey with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism- on day one is “TV Series”. The number of the applications for participation to the Genre Seminar that will take place on day two with the title of “Action/Thriller” and day three with the title of “Comedy” is above the expected level.
The seminars which will welcome cinema students and the participants who loves screenplays along with the famous participants will bring McKee and the Turkish cinema industry together in scope of the 4th International Bosphorus Film Festival.
The master McKee who arrived to Turkey recently with his wife first came together with the festival team and officials, and later with the written/visual media institutions at Four Seasons Hotel for a special media meeting and interviews.

Robert McKee is the author of the book “Story” which is deemed as the holy book of the screenplay writers, who tutored more than 100,000 students -among whom there are 60 Oscar winners- since 1984.
